Administrative Installation

Tally Climate Action Tool (tallyCAT) from the Autodesk App Store always installs under the administrator account on per-machine basis, so no special actions are required.

To install Tally Climate Action Tool (tallyCAT) Community Edition from the command line under the administrator account while also making it accessible to other users on the same machine, please adjust your installation scripts as follows:

msiexec /i "tallyCAT_community_installer.msi" ALLUSERS=1

Note: ALLUSERS=1 is the critical element in this command.

Installation Paths:

• The .addin files will be placed in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\tallyCAT.bundle.

• The plugin binaries will reside in C:\Program Files\C-Change Labs Inc\tallyCAT.

User-Specific Data: For each user who launches Revit, plugin data (such as configuration files, logs, libraries, etc.) will be stored in C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\C-Change Labs Inc\tallyCAT.

This feature is available starting from version 0.52.1.

Caution: If you had previously installed the plugin in a different manner, kindly uninstall it first via Windows Apps & Features (or 'Installed Apps' on Windows 11).
