Custom View

The Custom View is automatically created along with the Revit View during the EC3 Export. In a nutshell, it's a carbon copy of the Revit View with additional benefits.

The Custom View initially has the same hierarchical structure as the Revit View.

All building element refinements which could be done in the Revit View are available here as well. These changes are preserved across the Custom View and the Revit View.

Although the Revit View is very restricted in terms of reorganizing the data, in the Custom View you're free to move the building elements between the labels however you like.

These view organization changes will not affect the Revit View in any way. It will always preserve the strict tallyCAT-compatible structure.

Feel free to use the Custom View to organize the data for your convenience.
